Become a Member of the ISNN today!!!
A invitation from the Scientific Board of the ISNN
We invite you to become a member of the The International Society of Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics (ISNN). The Society was established in 2005 with the broad goals of increasing our understanding of how genetic variation interacts with dietary nutrients to affect diseases of biomedical importance and the role of dietary components on gene expression. These activities are pursued by bringing together scientists, clinicians, nutritionists, dietitians, and other health care professionals, as well as through the education of professionals and the general public.
An important part of the The Society’s mission is to stimulate new research ideas and collaboration by providing an interdisciplinary platform for scientists from various disciplines, including, but not limited to, genetics, nutrition, cellular and molecular biology, physiology, pathology, biochemistry, clinical medicine, and public health. In addition, the educational aspects of the ISNN’s mission are to assist in interpreting results from research studies for their potential application to health care and into evidence-based nutritional advice for the public. As needed, the ISNN also establishes committees to handle other scientific and educational issues.
Some of the benefits of becoming an ISNN Member:
- An opportunity to attend the yearly Congress and be active in an international community of biomedical professionals discussing topics of common interest on nutrigenetics/nutrigenomics through interactions and the exchange of ideas. Past Congresses have been held all over the world, including Europe, Brazil, China, the Middle East, Australia, and North America.
- A one-year subscription to the Society’s official journal (Journal of Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics), which is indexed in PubMed and publishes high quality research papers on nutrigenetics/nutrigenomics. The ISNN is entirely committed to supporting and reinforcing the scope and visibility of the Journal.
- Access to an extensive and curated database of PubMed citations on nutrigenetics/nutrigenomics studies (http://www.nutrigenetics.net).
We hope you take advantage of this exciting opportunity to become a Member of the ISNN today and join a growing group of like-minded professionals focused on nutrigenetics/nutrigenomics.
